I've gathered a ton of information in my genealogy work thus far, with no really great place to write it out. All the facts and details are stored beautifully on ancestry.com, regardless of where online I've gathered it, but I have now acquired stories and letters and more photos.
Also, as someone who has always written---it just flat helps me to really understand the lineages, etc. by writing about them a bit more fully.
